Central (Sydney) Station

Central (Sydney) is attended by station staff.

Central (Sydney) is wheelchair accessible. The station is staffed from the first train service to the last train service.  

Wheelchair accessible means the station has either a lift, level access or a compliant ramp (1:14) from street level to all platforms, and a portable platform to train ramp.

For stations with more than one entrance, it may be the case that not all entrances are accessible. The accessible station entrances at Central (Sydney) are:

• Northern end of station:
• Eddy Ave or
• Light rail station entrance
• Country terminal entrance on western side of the station (off Pitt St)

Please note that parking at Central station is limited to two hours for the purpose of seeing off or collect passengers. This is subject to the Roads and Traffic Authority Mobility Parking Scheme.

The cloak room and lockers at Sydney's Central Station are closed until further notice. This is part of an increased security measure undertaken to enhance your safety as well as that of our staff.
